Comments:

Accelerating Parcae's dark pop/rock sound is consistently grounded by Kelly Godshall's strong, rich, sometimes harsh sometimes crooning vocals. The instrumentation is strongly guitar-based, but John DeGregorio gets a range of sound from the guitar and the other instrumentation makes it sound like there were a lot more musicians participating in making this album. My favourite track here is the haunting, winding, evocative "Silent Ravine." Others will love the more rocking and ranging songs that dominate the album. Interesting cover of Bowie's "I'm Afraid of Americans". (sophiagurley@hotmail.com)
