Both have lovely voices, and the simple production lets them shine through—the voices carry the power of the songs. Simply beautiful. One of the best and loveliest combination of voices I've heard. (Neile)

A delightful album—smooth and lyrical without being bland, and emotional with being overdramatic. Two excellent voices with great material. This is one of the best traditional folk albums I have ever heard—a stunning collection of traditional Newfoundland songs. (Neile)
