MythillogicalRelease info:2005—Myopicat Records Availability:Unknown Ecto priority:Recommended Group members:Ethereal—vocals, xylophone Guest artists:Ludent Tremmel—guitars, keyboards, African drums, timpani, backing vocals Produced by:Ludent Tremmel Comments:Ethereal has named herself well. Her brand of music is of the ethereal bent with strong progressive leanings. The lyrics often allude to fairy tales and myths as the title implies. "Far from Eve" makes some neat observations on original sin and women's conditions. "Athene" the goddess of war and wisdom in ancient Greece, gets a tribal-sounding track devoted to her. The spiteful "Cry your river" stands out, the vocals set to an insistent backing. This is a fascinating and rewarding album.
