Comments:

NOTE: The disc as purchased comes in an artcard in a fabric slipcase wrapped in thick twine and metal—visually striking. The copy we received for promotional purposes came in the artcard wrapped in thin twine. Still visually affective but not as striking. (Or difficult to store.)

An oddly packaged and very short record with emphasis on Stefany Anne Golberg's expansive voice. It doesn't exactly resemble anything else, but I detect shades of Iva Bittova's vocal stylings and maybe a little of Mari Boine's approach to music. I wish it were a bit longer so I could really let it sink in. Still, it's worth examining anyhow because of its originality. (stjarnell@yahoo.com)
