Moody, dreamy, ambient, dark, chilling, hypnotic, mesmerizing. I find it hard to get a handle on Jute's music (in a good way). Every time I listen to it, I hear different things, feel different things. I think I always *experience* it differently. Which is quite an interesting thing. I like it quite a bit. (JoAnn Whetsell)

Hi, I loaned out A Violent Narcotic to a friend and have only my favorite 6 songs available in my system: Thoughts: nice female voices, often ethereal and floaty, 'tho sometimes there is only one voice and it is not so ethereal. General statement: if you heard any 2 non-ambient Brian Eno cds and did not like them, you won't like this. Both are cutting personal paths through the same jungle of pleasant syncopated noise music. They'll extend and flow on for a while. There are different moods being experienced here. (zzkwhite@ktwu.wuacc.edu)
