Lady Lamb the BeekeeperCountry of origin:U.S. Type of music generally:Alternative, pop/rock Status:Most recent release, Tender Warriors Club (EP, 2016) See also:Lady Lamb's site Comparisons:Wow, hard call. The obscure Margot O'Breslin comes to mind Covers/own material:Own General comments:Lady Lamb the Beekeeper's music is urgent—reviewers talk about gits and gristle and her unusual lyrics. Her songs tend to the epic (and occasionally bombastic—I'm not saying this is necessarily a bad thing) with shifts and changes that match the lyrics. Tough, hurt, strong, and strange.(Neile) Recommended first album:ripely pine is the only one we've heard so far. Recordings:
