General comments:

A mix of gentle pop ballads and some slightly more rocking tunes. She has an interesting voice, kind of high but not always. A nice change of pace. (sophiagurley@hotmail.com)

Comments:

This is a polished debut album—Nicole Ockmond has songwriting chops and an appealing presentation. She can sing with emotional impact and blusey moodiness. The songs here are mostly soft pop ballads, but have vocal energy and charm. My favourite track is "because", the final track, where she really lets go emotionally and wails.
