Anonyma (2006)Release info:2006—self-released Availability:See Aileen Paron's CD Baby page Ecto priority:Recommended Group members:Aileen Paron—vocals, piano, keyboards Guest artists:Vincent Gates—guitar, drums programming Produced by:Aileen Paron and Vincent Gates Comments:Aileen Paron makes a confident debut with this record. She has a lovely voice and handles her piano well. Her songs are strong and something in her delivery reminds me of Fiona Apple. "Skyscrapers" is one of the standout tracks, a plaintive but hopeful song. Her voice is at its best on "Am I Getting through?" where she tells of love with difficulties well. All in all, Aileen Paron has made a neat debut. (stjarnell@yahoo.com) Thanks to Anna Maria Stjärnell for work on this entry.
