Comments:

Vajra, fronted by Annamaria Pinna, is a powerful rock band with an exciting sound. They recall a rock-oriented Dead Can Dance with a sprinkling of Siouxsie, though they are wholly individual. "Inside the flame" is a scorching opener with everything at full throttle, making a good entry point for the album. "Blind" is an intense and powerful song that shows off the band's talents well. "See through you" is a song with s slower tempo, and it works very well, Pinna's vocals soaring just right. It's a fine debut all told. (stjarnell@yahoo.com)
